Wednesday March 10th Test Shots

Assignment #1 Part B  is due today. 

If everyone would download their "Test Shots" onto Google Drive by 8am on Wednesday March 10th it will make things go faster. 

Make sure you have no less than 4 jpegs per subject! More is better!  

Zoom Link will be emailed to you. 

Week of March 8th

Please note under Assignments that Assignment #1 Part B has been updated with a deadline.  Everyone will need to turn in their "Test Shots" by class time on Wednesday March 10th.  We will be meeting virtually that day and I will send a Zoom link. 

Make sure you have no less than 4 jpegs per subject! More is better!  You may work at home or in the studio. 

Note: There will be no class on Monday March 8th but a good time to go work in the studio. 

March 3rd

 On Wednesday, I will be doing a short demo in the studio.   I will send a Zoom link for everyone to watch but if you would like to see it in person or just come and help, please let me know before class on Wednesday. 

The Zoom link will be emailed to you. 

March 1st

 A little reminder -  Part #1 Ideas Boards due @ 8:30 am   (10 points) 

Present examples of idea for your shots (i.e. environment/background, props, 

color palette)etc. as instructed during class.  Present at lease a couple of ideas for each category and make sure your presentations are informative and professional.

Week of February 22nd

 Monday February 22nd -

Class will meet online @ 9am  to go over Assignment #1.  I will be going over in detail the serval parts of Assignment #1 please be on time.  

Wednesday February 24th - 

The last group will finish up exercises 3,4,5 in the studio and there will be a short online meeting with everyone at 9:30am.  Roll will be taken! 

The following students be in the studio by 8am with external hard drives and product that you are shooting for Exercises 3, 4, & 5:

Files Due: Friday, Feb 26th before 5:00pm. 

Monday February 15, 2021 - Class Canceled

Due to concerns related to the forecasted inclement weather, Texas A&M University-Commerce closed at 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2021, and will open Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at regular business hours starting at 8:00 a.m.

Those students that was scheduled to work in the studio on Monday the 15th please be prepare to come on Wednesday the 17th.  As always there will be a short online class on that same day. 

Attendance Policy

Just a reminder: 

 

Attendance is required and is recorded at all class and lab meetings either face2face or online. Every student will be responsible for all information given during scheduled class and lab times. Attendance counts a maximum of 100 points. Students will start with 100 points and 10 points will be subtracted from the original 100 points for every day missed. You will lose 5 points for arriving after roll is taken. Note: A total of 4 absences from any class meetings (lecture or lab) could result in a failing grade ("F") or being dropped from the course except for extenuating circumstances, as determined by the instructor. Excused absences are listed under Class Attendance (A13.02) in the A&MCommerce Procedures. Verifiable excuses for absences must be turned into the professor in a timely manner.
